A pitch in our campsite can accommodate a maximum of 6 people, including a maximum of 4 adults (person who has reached the French legal age of majority at 18 years old).

On a pitch, there can be a maximum of one large installation (large tent, motorhome, VW van, converted van, caravan) and up to two additional installations (small tents, awning…).

Our locations

Minors not accompanied by their legal guardian must present a signed parental authorization at the campsite reception, designating a responsible adult who must be present on the pitch for the entire duration of their stay. A copy of the legal guardian's identity document is also required.

An adult (18+ years old) must be present on the premises for the entire duration of the stay.

The campsite reception is located 5 km from the town centre of Grayan-et-l'Hôpital and 500 metres from the ocean.

The campsite offers the rental of bare pitches with or without electricity only: inside the campsite, there are no mobile homes, no shops and no entertainment, for a relaxing and natural stay!

Shops and restaurants are located outside the campsite on the Gurp River or in the town center of Grayan-et-l'Hôpital. The sports activities offered by CAP33 mainly take place on the beach or opposite the campsite.

It is possible to have Wifi on the campsite, by paying an Osmozis subscription for the desired duration and number of devices.

Our services

The amperage of the electrical locations is 12 amps.

Visitors are permitted for day visits and must leave identification at reception for the duration of their visit. If an overnight stay is required, it must be paid for at the current rate.

Only animals vaccinated against rabies are allowed. You must present the vaccination record upon arrival at the campsite. Animals must be kept on a leash within the campsite. Category 1 and 2 dogs are not permitted.

Barbecues are only permitted in designated areas, located near each toilet block.

The car barriers are open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on weekdays and from 7:00 a.m. to midnight on Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays.

Pedestrian and bicycle access next to reception is open 24/7. Pedestrian and bicycle access opposite the shops is open from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm. No other access is permitted.

If you need to leave before 7:00 a.m., please inform reception the day before, and they will pass your desired departure time on to the night watchman. We advise you to park your vehicle behind reception and to make as little noise as possible when leaving early so as not to disturb other campers.

The noise

Silence must be observed from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. During the day, we ask that you avoid any noise or conversations that might disturb your neighbors. Audio devices should be adjusted accordingly, and the opening and closing of car doors should be as quiet as possible.

The cleanliness of the location

The pitch must be left clean and completely empty upon departure. Your rubbish and glass must be regularly deposited in the designated bins outside the campsite near reception.

The deterioration of the facilities

Any damage to the buildings (graffiti, breakage, deliberate soiling…) or to the fences surrounding the campsite is punishable by expulsion.

Reservations for a pitch can only be made through our website www.campinglegurp.com. No requests will be accepted by email or telephone in order to prevent overbooking. Simply follow the online procedure by filling in the required information and paying a deposit of 30% of the total price of your stay (the website is hosted on a French platform and complies with Law No. 2018-700 of August 3, 2018, which establishes the standard for secure payments; AmEx cards are not accepted).

There are 4 steps involved in booking online:

  • “Choose your stay” where you select your dates and your type of location (site without electricity, with electricity, mobile)
  • "Options" where you detail the participants in your stay and the options for the stay
  • "Contact Details" where you enter your contact information and have the option to leave a comment regarding your reservation
  • "Payment" where you pay your deposit online

If the website does not offer you a location, check the dates requested and the number of people indicated: nothing will be offered if your dates are outside the opening period of the campsite or if you indicate more than 6 people in your search.

Discover our locations

During the booking process, you can reserve multiple pitches. In the second step, "Options," you have the option to save your stay details and reserve another pitch; you will then be redirected to step 1. All saved stays will be summarized in step 3 on the right side of your screen. The deposits for the different stays will be added together, and you will pay the total deposits in step 4.

You can leave us your preferences in the comments section during step 3. You can enter your desired pitch numbers, preferences such as a sunny or shaded spot, proximity to the sanitary facilities, or a specific area of the campsite, etc. The campsite team will then assign you a pitch, trying their best to respect your criteria based on availability and everyone's requests.

In the comments section of step 3 of the booking process, you can indicate that you would like to be next to another person who has booked a pitch at the campsite. You must then provide at least the first and last name of the person on the booking. If several pitches have been booked at once through our website, we will automatically place them side by side, subject to availability and unless the camper requests otherwise.

Each reservation corresponds to a specific pitch, meaning that every time you book on the website, a new pitch will be assigned to you, requiring you to move your equipment to a new location. To optimize pitch management and for your comfort, only one move per stay is permitted.

Example :

Paul wants to stay at the campsite from July 15th to July 27th on a pitch with electricity. If Paul chooses a pitch with electricity from July 15th to July 21st, as suggested by the website, he can complete his stay by checking if a pitch with or without electricity is available from July 21st to July 27th. He is then aware that he will have to move all his equipment to the new pitch on the morning of July 21st.

On the other hand, if Paul has to split his stay into more than 2 bookings and he asks to book from July 15 to 20, from July 20 to 22 and from July 22 to 27, the bookings will be cancelled by the campsite and the deposit paid will be rejected by our team.

We accept additional people in a booking if the number of people and the number and type of facilities comply with our internal regulations. You can email us the full name and date of birth of each participant, as well as their dates of stay, and we will add them to the booking. Alternatively, you can add additional participants directly at the campsite reception.

If a person not previously registered wants to join an ongoing stay at the campsite, the site manager must be present to confirm their agreement.

If you wish to bring forward your arrival date, you will need to book an additional night through the website and indicate in the comments section at step 3 of the booking process that it is an addition to your original reservation. Depending on availability, the additional night may be accepted at the same location, accepted with a new location for one night, or refused.

The campsite reception opens at 8:00 am. Pitches can be vacated by previous occupants until 12:00 pm.

If you arrive after reception has closed, the night watchman at reception will be able to welcome you and allow you to settle into the campsite until 11:00 PM. You will need to complete the administrative procedures at reception the following morning.

The pitch must be vacated by 12:00 on the morning of departure. Any delay may result in an additional night's charge.

Written confirmation is required for your cancellation to be processed. You can send an email to contact@campinglegurp.fr. If you purchased Campez Couvert cancellation insurance when booking, please contact them for any refund at sinistres@campez-couvert.com or via their website www.declare.fr. If you did not purchase cancellation insurance, no refund will be issued.

The campsite accepts payments by bank cards (except AmEx), by checks (except foreign ones), by holiday vouchers and by cash (up to a maximum of €300 in accordance with article 19 of the amending finance law n°2013-1279 of 29 December 2013)

The balance of your stay is payable upon your arrival at the campsite.

Upon arrival at reception, you can prepare information in advance to give to the receptionists in order to speed up the check-in process:

  • Present an identity document (identity card, passport, driving licence, or other: family record book) for each participant in the stay.
  • Please present your pet's vaccination record.
  • Provide your vehicle registration number.
  • Parental authorization must be presented for any minor not accompanied by a legal representative, along with a copy of the legal representative's identity document.

Note that in France, an identity card is mandatory for minors from the age of 13.
